Building on the success of the powerful 23 Center Console and the versatility of the 23 Express, North Coast has developed the 23 Hard Top. This model may just be the ideal fishing machine/family boat. The cabin is outfitted with a two-tone fiberglass headliner and a molded fiberglass interior v-berth with storage below. In between the berths is a covered portable head. The two opening ports and overhead hatch (all with screens) provide great ventilation and light. The pilot house is a spacious five feet in length and well over six feet in headroom. With the venting windshields and sliding side windows, all in a custom powder coated aluminum frame, you get all the fresh air nature has to offer. Order the galley unit option and the fiberglass aft bulkhead with an aluminum locking door and two windows, and you have a boat that you can use almost all year long. With a top speed of over 40 mph, you can get to the fishing hole and back quickly and safely. The NorthCoast 23 Hard Top shares the same versatility as the 23 Express: transom or platform mounted outboards, Volvo gas I/O, or two Volvo diesel I/O’s. And of course, you can choose either the modified vee or deep vee hull.
